Even though we have a mess out there right now, no one can be more proud of their plants than I am. I have about a 4 foot section of plants that I start that will live outside. Holly, forsythia, and a few things like that. All the rest are tropical.
Oh, @waretrop, those are absolutely beautiful! I would love to start including more tropical plants into my greenhouse but I need to do some research first. Your flowers are gorgeous. I'm swooning. What is that in the first photo?
You do have some great plants! It is fun photographing the special ones. I just bought a collection of young Thai hybrid Euphorbia milii in different colors. I can't wait til they all grow and bloom! I also got a collection of 10 different aloes I didn't have.
Nice you have some good E. Milii colors!
I used to have a lot of pachypodiums when we lived in Arizona. I accidentally let them freeze one year, so that was the end of them. I'll have to get more and start over.
I do love the Desert Rose, Adeniums. Right now I only have one large old one that is about 15 years old. I have a number of young seedlings about a year old. I can't wait to see what color they bloom because the seeds were special ones from Thailand.
Here is my old Adenium. Every year or two, I bareroot it and raise the caudex up as it gets re-planted. I usually trim the roots and branches a bit at the same time, trying to keep it in the same pot. It's heavy enough for me to lift and I don't want to go any larger.
