I have a moisture/ph meter made by a company called The Squirm Firm (http://shop.thesquirmfirm.com/worm-compost-ph-moisture-meter/) that I use to monitor my indoor worm composter. I've never seen one that also has a light meter. What units of measurement does it offer for light reading? (lumen, lux, PAR, other?)
@SouthernGrower I bought the same one. I also have the ph tester from Lee Valley but needed another moisture meter and this one was a good price with those extra features. I tested the ph meter... very basic tests and it does lean the right direction comparing it with the Lee VAlley one. The light meter, I think it's more of a gimmick because it does have numbers from 0 dark, up to 2000 light. Anybody knows that generally, growing outside/in sunlight will always provide the best lighting.
Good question - I don't know .... I wasn't really interested in the light meter function so I threw out the packaging. I suppose if I see one in the store again, I'll look at the packaging to see if it explains.
